Wooli Art Show – Easter Long Weekend

The Wild About Wooli Art Show is an annual event held over the Easter long weekend showcasing art from the local coastal regions.

Wild About Wooli Art Show If you’re in Wooli (or anywhere else on the Clarence Coast or in the Clarence Valley) this Easter long weekend, make sure you pop into the Wooli Hotel/Motel for the third annual Wild About Wooli Art Show.

The official Opening Night of the Art Show takes place on Friday 29 March 2013 at 6.30pm. Entry to this entertaining and artistic evening are $10 for adults and $5 for children, which includes nibbles and a drink.

The Wooli Art Show will continue to be on display at the Games Room of the Wooli Hotel/Motel on Easter Saturday and Sunday 30-31 March (until 4pm). Entry on the weekend is a $2 donation.

You’ll find all sorts of works at the exhibition, from paintings and works on paper to sculptures and fabric art – but what they all have in common is the theme: the coast.

The driving force behind the show is the Wooli Artists Gathering, which was formed in 2010 by a group of artists and people interested in art who all have a connection to Wooli.

Considering Wooli’s stunning natural beauty and unique location, it’s no surprise that so many artists choose to feature Wooli and the surrounding coastal area in their works.

Works will be available for sale so you can take home a creative and one-of-a-kind Wooli souvenir. Proceeds of the Art Show will support efforts of the Coastal Communities Protection Alliance-Wooli Inc to ensure Wooli remains a unique and inspirational Aussie icon.
